VANCOUVER, BC – 04/17/2017 Ashanti Gold Corp. (“Ashanti” or the “Company”) - (TSXV: AGZ) announces with sadness that Michael Turko, a director of the Company, has passed away. Mr. Turko was instrumental in the transition from Gulf Shores Resources Ltd. to Ashanti Gold Corp. in 2016.
“The entire board of directors, management and team of Ashanti is deeply saddened by Michael's passing and offers condolences to his family at this difficult time.
